10:00 Almaty city sight seeing tour – visiting Zenkov’s Cathedral, 28 Panfilov Guards Park , Museum of National Musical Instruments (Kazakh folk music instruments some dated 17th century: wind-stringed and percussion instruments are exhibited), Central State Museum – the history of Kazakhstan is presented through 120000 exhibits arranged in four exhibition halls. Hall “Bronze age archaeological gold collection”.
Excursion to Small Almaty gorge with picturesque nature, Alpine skating rink - “Medeo” situated at an altitude of 1691 meters above the sea level. It’s one of the Central Asia’s top skiing resorts.
Besides beautiful nature there are some other attractions to see, one of which is the world' s largest speed skating rink Medeo. The other one is a dike, which is a piece of engineering art, & was created to protect the city from landslides. The dike' s collector has an impressive capacity of 6 000000 m3 of water).
Lunch at Kazakh Aul restaurant (lunch served in Kazakh traditional yurts). Traditional Kazakh cuisine – besbarmak, manty, baoursaki, tea with milk.
