09:00 - Excursion over Tashkent, one of the largest ancient cities in Central Asia, capital of Uzbekistan. In Uzbek, Tashkent means "the Stone City" and is also known as a city of striking contrasts. You will see both old and modern city. First, we begin with old part of the city:
Khazrat-Imam Complex including Madrasseh Barak-Khan (XVI c.); Jami Mosque (XIX c.); Mausoleum of Kaffal-Shoshi (XV c.). Madrasseh of Kukeldash (XV c.).
Modern Part of the city: Visiting Museum of Applied Arts, Opera and Ballet Theater named by Alisher Navoiy, traditional Oriental Market "Oloy"
