Tashkent: Old part of the city: Koran of Caliph Osman, written on the skin of a deer in the middle of VII century; Khazrat-Imam Complex including: Madrassah Barak-Khan (XVI c.), Jami Mosque (XIX c.), Mausoleum of Kaffal-Shoshi (XV c.); Madrassah Kukeldash (XV c.).
Modern part of the city: Museum of Applied Arts; Amir Timur square; Opera and Ballet Theater named after Alisher Navoi.
Samarkand: Mausoleum of Imam Al-Bukhari; Imam Maturidi Mausoleum, Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel; Khazrat Khizir Mosque; Registan square including: Madrassah Ulugbek (XIV c.), Madrassah Sherdor (XVII c.) and Madrassah Tillya Kari (XVII c.); Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XV c.); Ulughbek's Observatory (XV c.); Bibi Khanum Mosque (XV c.); Shakhi Zinda Mausoleum (XII-XVI cc.).
